Psychotherapy, therapy, counseling, these are all terms to describe the process of challenging thought patterns, gaining insight into one’s emotions and behaviors, and creating new, healthy thought patterns and coping strategies to become our best selves. We utilize a diverse mix of therapeutic tools, based on evidence-based practices such as; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Trauma Focused therapies depending on the needs of our clients.
Our focus is ADHD, but we also specialize in other co-occuring disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity, learning differences and women’s issues.
Neurofeedback is a way of training your brain to work more optimally for you. Simply put, it is the process of measuring information, like electrical activity/signals, from your brain (that’s the neuro-part) and that information is fed back to your brain over and over again (that’s the feedback-part).
Neurofeedback and ADHD - Studies have shown significant improvement in patients with ADHD using neurofeedback. Improvements have occurred in areas of attention, impulsivity and hyperactivity. NF training has also had a positive effect on the executive function system with improvements in organizing, planning, motivation, self control and emotional regulation.

Art therapy is where the creative arts and psychology intersect. This form of therapy helps to cultivate self-expression, create coping skills, manage stress, and strengthen sense of self. Art therapy can be incredibly effective tool in helping to process different life events, thought patterns, and emotions. Art can also become powerful coping skill that can be used outside of the therapy session. Because art therapy is focused on the process, not the product, you do not need to be an experienced artist to enjoy its benefits. It can be used with a wide range of client populations.
